Cancellation Policy

Consultation Policy To ensure focused, productive sessions and fair availability for all clients, the following policies apply to all booked consultations with BorneoHomes. Scope of the Consultation Consultations are advisory in nature and intended to provide professional insight, strategic guidance, and operational clarity related to property management and real estate investment. Consultations may include discussion of management strategy, performance considerations, maintenance planning, operational structure, and general best practices. Consultations do not include legal advice, emergency services, contractor dispatch, or ongoing management tasks. Preparation Clients are encouraged to come prepared with relevant information, questions, or concerns related to their property or investment goals. Time spent gathering background information during the session counts toward the booked consultation time. Booking & Payment • All consultations are billed at an hourly rate • Payment is required at the time of booking • Appointments are confirmed upon receipt of payment Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows • Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice at no charge • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled session fee • No-shows (failure to attend without notice) will be charged 100% of the scheduled session fee These policies ensure respect for scheduled time and availability. Time Management Consultations begin and end promptly at the scheduled time. Late arrivals may result in reduced session time to accommodate subsequent appointments. Full session fees apply regardless of arrival time. No Obligation Booking a consultation does not obligate either party to enter into a property management agreement. If ongoing services are a good fit, they will be discussed separately. Professional Boundaries Consultations are intended for property owners, investors, or authorized decision-makers. BorneoHomes reserves the right to decline or terminate a session if the consultation falls outside the intended scope or becomes inappropriate or unproductive. Follow-Up Any follow-up recommendations or next steps will be discussed during the session. Written summaries or additional advisory support may be offered at an additional fee if requested.
